Salary Minimum Wage 2025. Hourly minimum wage for all employees. A minimum wage of not less than $4.25 may be paid to employees under age 20 for their first 90 consecutive calendar days of employment, as long as their employment does not.

The minimum wages act, 1948, provides for fixing minimum rates of wages in scheduled employments including those in the private sector. Since 4 march 2019 trainee rates have been abolished.
